Exchanging Links Wisely

In the beginning I found myself joining into the link exchange web, only to find out the only linking going on was the linking companies links on my sites. The links I did exchange I found myself waisting valuable time searching for them on so called link farms. Quickly I learned that I could create my very own link page that others could easily copy my web site code and place on thier own web pages. Now I save myself hours of work each week by allowing myself around an hour per month just to follow up on my link exchanges that I currently have out there. I also found there were many companies out there that have numerous web sites with only one link farm conected to them requesting link exchanges. Always try to link within your own catagories if possible. I realize that everyone today is concerned about page rank, and I am telling you that it will come in time. I watched my Alexa ratnking go from nothing to an increase of over 500,000 in less than a month. The internet is really no different than starting a new business , so use your website link in a smart fashion by giving yourself the final say on just what sites are placed on your website.
